Data Science Modeling I

In my coursework for STAT 240, I engaged deeply with the core aspects of data science, focusing on reproducible data management, modeling, analysis, and statistical inference. This practical, case-study-driven course honed my skills in an integrated statistical computing environment, emphasizing data wrangling and the R programming language. I developed proficiency in creating informative data graphics and visualizations. My studies also encompassed the fundamentals of probability, exploring binomial and normal distributions, and applying these concepts through data modeling and statistical inference in various sample settings. I mastered techniques in simple linear regression and leveraged R Markdown for comprehensive report generation, addressing complex, open-ended questions with robust data-driven insights. This course was instrumental in enhancing my analytical capabilities, preparing me for real-world data analysis and decision-making challenges.
