Confucius Institute at East China Normal University, Shanghai

In July 2018, through the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority Early Preparation Program, I participated in the intensive Summer Camp Class at the Confucius Institute, East China Normal University. This program immersed me in Mandarin and exposed me to Chinese culture, deepening my understanding of global educational practices. We visited several prestigious Chinese universities, interacting with faculty and students to gain firsthand insights into their academic systems. This linguistic and cultural immersion broadened my perspective, enhancing my global educational outlook and intercultural communication skills.

Investment Competition - Wharton Global Youth Program

During the summer of 2020, I had the extraordinary opportunity to engage directly in the Wharton Global Youth Program's renowned Investment Competition at the University of Pennsylvania. This program was structured around the dynamic and competitive environment of investment management, where I worked alongside a diverse team to strategize on real-time financial markets and manage a simulated investment portfolio. Our challenge was to maximize returns under realistic market conditions, which required rigorous analysis, strategic foresight, and ethical decision-making. The highlight of this experience was developing "Kantan," an innovative augmented reality fashion app designed to enhance the online shopping experience. This project not only showcased our ability to integrate technology and business strategy effectively but also emphasized the importance of adaptability and creativity in today’s fast-paced business world. Living on the UPenn campus, I experienced life as a university student in an Ivy League setting, which was instrumental in developing my professional aspirations and understanding of global business practices.
