Sustainability Ambassadors Program

In 2019 and 2020 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, I actively participated in Masdar's Youth 4 Sustainability initiative's Sustainability Ambassadors Program. This role immersed me in the core of global sustainability efforts during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, where I contributed to discussions that shaped international environmental policies and practices. Engaging with thought leaders and experts from around the world, I developed a comprehensive understanding of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). My responsibilities included orchestrating community outreach projects, leading workshops, and advocating for sustainable development, which enhanced my skills in project management, public speaking, and strategic implementation. These experiences were instrumental in equipping me with the expertise to drive meaningful environmental initiatives and advocate for policy changes that facilitate sustainable development.

Future Sustainability Leaders Program

From 2023 to 2024 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, I was deeply involved in Masdar's Youth 4 Sustainability initiative through the Future Sustainability Leaders Program. The program provided a rigorous curriculum that included interactive workshops, expert-led seminars, and hands-on projects that addressed the latest challenges and innovations in sustainability. I collaborated with a diverse group of young leaders, sharing insights and strategies on how to effectively implement sustainable solutions across various industries. This engagement not only broadened my technical and theoretical knowledge but also refined my leadership qualities by putting me in situations that required critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills. The exposure to such a dynamic learning environment was pivotal in shaping my approach to sustainability and reinforcing my commitment to becoming a change-maker in the field.

Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) - IT Department

In July 2023, I completed a five-week internship in the IT Research Department at ADIA, which has been a cornerstone of my professional development. Collaborating closely with teams from Goldman Sachs, I spearheaded the development of a Python-based interactive dashboard that revolutionized how investment portfolios are analyzed and visualized, leading to significantly enhanced decision-making processes. This project required not only technical skills but also a strategic understanding of financial markets, which I developed through rigorous analysis and continuous learning. Additionally, my exposure to advanced data management tools like Foundry and Palantir enabled me to streamline data pipelines and optimize investment strategies, providing ADIA with critical insights that supported more informed investment decisions. This hands-on experience has been crucial in developing my expertise in data analytics and financial engineering, setting a strong foundation for my future career in financial technology.

Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) - Central Investment Services Department

From July to August 2024 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, I completed a six-week internship in the Central Investment Services Department at ADIA, which proved to be a transformative experience in my professional journey. During this time, I developed PRISM (PDF Retrieval, Interaction, and Smart Management), an AI-powered tool that revolutionized investment data processing across multiple departments. This innovative solution achieved a remarkable 96% reduction in extraction time and over 98% accuracy in data processing. Utilizing Python, Streamlit, PyMuPDF, and various API integrations, I engineered a comprehensive system that automated complex data analysis from over 200 sources, dramatically reducing a quarterly process from 25.5 hours to just 2 minutes per document. My work demonstrated exceptional problem-solving and collaboration skills, as PRISM found applications across six major departments. I conducted a thorough handover, ensuring smooth integration and positioning the tool for future enhancements in file management, workflow optimization, and potential ADIA-wide integration. This internship not only showcased my technical abilities but also my capacity to develop innovative solutions that significantly improve operational efficiency and accuracy in a high-stakes financial environment, setting a strong foundation for my career in financial technology and data analytics.
