National Service
National Service in the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces
Serving in the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces was an intensely formative period that significantly advanced both my personal and professional development. Starting my service on 18 October 2020, I was first stationed in Dayboot, a military base renowned for rigorous training and discipline, where I completed my basic training and swiftly moved into leadership roles.
Leadership and Operations in Military Environments
My initial leadership experience was at the School of Armour, where I was intricately trained on tank operations. This training not only equipped me with technical military skills but also honed my strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Following this, I was appointed as a Military Writer , a role that placed me at the forefront of managing the border operations between Abu Dhabi and Dubai during the pandemic. This critical position involved coordinating recruitment and overseeing the daily management of national service members.
Adapting and Excelling Under Pressure
In this high-stakes environment, I developed proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and other crucial administrative competencies, which were pivotal when it came to effectively managing personnel and logistics. My tenure here taught me the importance of adaptability and leadership in crisis situations, enhancing my ability to lead teams under pressure.
Certificates and Recognition
During my service, I earned a Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of Defense for my distinguished contributions to the annual military conference in 2021, and I received my Military Service Completion Certificate from the National and Reserve Service Authority, marking the successful conclusion of my active duty.
A Foundation for Future Aspirations
This chapter of my life laid a strong foundation for my career aspirations, where I learned invaluable lessons about leadership, responsibility, and the importance of meticulous organizational management. My service not only shaped my character but also instilled a deep sense of duty and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Commitment to Excellence
These experiences underscore my capability to navigate challenging situations and drive successful outcomes, qualities that I carry forward in my academic and professional pursuits. I am immensely proud of my time in the Armed Forces, as it profoundly impacted my approach to both life and work, teaching me that with determination and teamwork, no obstacle is too great to overcome.
